Inner mold and two outer halves shaped to fit this object. Uses the least plaster, but you print new halves for every object.
All three plates come out the same size — matched to the widest wedge — so the natches line up whichever pieces are put together. Walls and locks are scaled by the same amounts as the plates.
It goes from the end of the mold into your object. If that end of your object is uneven, it goes in far enough to reach all of it. Trim the extra clay off after casting.
Applies to the uploaded STL, before it is split. A model that is already solid passes through untouched.
